Weston-Super-Mare Club

 

The Weston-Super-Mare Club is delighted to invite you to the new meeting place in the new Ashcombe Children’s Centre in Weston. The Centre is brand new and has been purpose built for children; it houses a playgroup, a nursery, a café, holds various toddler groups and is fully supported by health visitors, midwives, the Children’s Information Service etc. Plus it is a large circular building and in the middle is a tented roof over artificial grass and a huge sandpit!!

Meetings are held fortnightly on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday from 1 - 2.45 pm (meetings will continue in the school holidays but at a slightly later time of 2 – 4pm).  The cost will be £1 per family, which includes refreshments.

Directions to Ashcombe Children’s Centre: –

From Worle/M5 area, drive over Hutton Moor bridge, turn left onto Locking Road past ‘Farm Foods’ store, take the 2nd right into Earlham Grove, go straight over the roundabout and Stepping Stone Walk is on the left hand side (just past Ashcombe Primary School) near the entrance to the rear of Quadron and Sita’s yards.

 

From the town centre, at Locking Road crossroads, turn left into Ashcombe Road, turn right at the mini roundabout into Earlham Grove and Stepping Stone Walk is on the right hand side

Clevedon Club

 

The Clevedon branch of NSTP meets on alternate Wednesdays (except school holidays when meetings are weekly) at The Barn, Great Western Way in Clevedon (a map is on http://www.thebarnclevedon.com/hire.html). There is a good selection of toys for the children to play with from baby toys to the Little Tikes car & slide and a great Brio train track. Coffee/tea and biscuits are available and you can bring along a packed lunch to eat if you like. Often there are craft sessions; recent projects have included a toy windmill, Christmas Stocking collage and painting of plaster of Paris models including dolphins and cartoon characters. Each session costs £1.50 (first session free) for the whole family (do bring along siblings, grandparents, guests staying with you etc) and includes refreshments. It runs from 11am to 1pm but you don't have to stay the whole time, just turn up and leave when you wish. Please come along and say hello.

Nailsea Club

 

The Nailsea branch of NSTP meets on alternate Wednesdays (except school holidays when meetings transfer to Clevedon) in the Nailsea Methodist Church Hall, Silver Street (Directions on their website: http://www.rlbr04669.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/map.htm). There is a well-attended fortnightly playgroup in association with Busy Bees. This is held on a Wednesday 10am – 12noon upstairs (with lift, though some twin pushchairs cannot fit but there are plenty of people willing to carry wide pushchairs up the few steps). First visit is free; thereafter it costs £1 per family, which includes refreshments.

Portishead Club
